PHENOLIC PAPER LAMINATEPhenolic paper laminate is a hard, dense material which is made by applying heat and pressure to the various layers of paper or glass cloth that is further impregnated with synthetic resin. The layers of laminations generally comprises of cellulose paper, cotton fabrics, synthetic yarn fabrics, glass fabrics or unwoven fabrics. Phenolic is also used widely in regards of plastic which is regarded as micarta plastic and is a laminated plastic which is created by the impregnation of layers of any given substrate with a resin then formed with the help of heat and pressure. These are generally Phenolic, silicone, melamine or epoxies and in the meanwhile the substrate materials range from paper and cotton to glass.
