Phenolic paper laminate is a hard, dense material which is made by applying heat and pressure to the various layers of paper or glass cloth that is further impregnated with synthetic resin. The layers of laminations generally comprises of cellulose paper, cotton fabrics, synthetic yarn fabrics, glass fabrics or unwoven fabrics. Phenolic is also used widely in regards of plastic which is regarded as micarta plastic and is a laminated plastic which is created by the impregnation of layers of any given substrate with a resin then formed with the help of heat and pressure. These are generally Phenolic, silicone, melamine or epoxies and in the meanwhile the substrate materials range from paper and cotton to glass.
Glass Epoxy Products are brought in use as adhesives majorly against wood, metal, glass, stone, and some plastics. These can be made with various styles and forms based upon the requirements; flexible or rigid, transparent or opaque/coloured, fast setting or slow setting. These adhesives are better in heat and chemical resistance as compared to other common adhesives. The main usage of these epoxy products is in the manufacturing of adhesives, plastics, paints, coatings, primers and sealers, flooring and other products and materials which hold great importance in building and construction applications. Glass Epoxy Products are made by the reaction of two or more industrial chemical compounds.
Asbestos Products are demanded largely due to their unmatchable characteristics which includes features such as their strength, durability, and resistance against heat, acids, as well as friction. These are virtually indestructible as these products prove to be useful due to their physical properties. These fibers are often combined with other materials in order to make them suitable for thousands of industrial, maritime, automotive, scientific and building products. The products are used in flooring, tiles, ceilings, etc. Different forms of asbestos products are sheet, rope and cloth. The length and diameter of the product is variable based upon the need of the buyer.
Ebonite Products With these characteristics, ebonite is widely used in many ways, including electrical insulation materials, premium gold or silver lacquer fountain pens, instrument mouthpieces, smoking supplies and fishing gear. Besides natural rubber, Ebonite contains about 25â80% sulfur and linseed oil. Its name comes from its intended use as an artificial substitute for ebony wood. The material is known generically as hard rubber and has formerly been called vulcanite, although that name now refers to the mineral vulcanite.
Graphite Products are used in many industrial applications. These are also used in making pencils and lubricants. The high conductivity of these products makes them useful in many electronic products as well. And the list of such products include electrodes, batteries, and solar panels. These are strongly anisotropic along with being uniaxial. The specific gravity of the products ranges from 1.9 to 2.3 and these are elastic and flexible too. These are counted in sectile group of elements which provides great array of applications to the user. The nature of the product includes slippery and dry lubricant machine parts.
